Time makes the mystery of the Subway come to the surface in a way that the human eye just can't see. The colors become much deeper and pregnant. the richness of the slick, wet rock looks like nowhere else in the world. And in fall, the movement of leaves twist and turn in invisible currents and eddies, making shapes that only appear after in time.
